Hi, I’m Anna. Technically, Annalisa, but I go by Anna. I’m a Registered Nurse (RN) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). More importantly, I’m a mom. I have over 6 years of obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) nursing experience.
I like to help people with their OB/GYN questions or concerns. I’ve found that education empowers…and I’m a big fan of empowering women, especially when it deals with the health of the mom and/or baby.
As I’ve worked with patients, I’ve noticed three important stages of pregnancy: before, during, and after birth. My nursing background helped me during each of my own pregnancy stages; crazy IVF hormones while trying to get pregnant, all the chemical misbalances during pregnancy (not to mention the lingering IVF effects, but YAY, it worked!), and finally, after my baby was born.
Prenatal Insights was born because I saw so many moms (current and future) that needed help. I know that I would have been lost if I didn’t have the experience that I’ve been lucky enough to get from the career I’ve chosen.
Preparing for and experiencing pregnancy and motherhood is an important, stressful, difficult, trying, emotional, moody, exciting, and amazing time.
I’m here to answer your questions and to help you be empowered and confident in making decisions for you and your baby.
