Start your breastfeeding journey on the right foot by preparing to breastfeed before your baby comes.

“I had always thought of breastfeeding as an innate thing that I was just going to know how to do — you have a baby, you breastfeed, simple as that. It wasn’t untilI read some things near my due date that I panicked and thought, ‘Hang on a second, I don’t know where to even begin.’

I’m so thankful my husband and I took Anna’s breastfeeding course. After three short hours we felt armed with so much interesting and useful information. I went from feeling like I knew nothing, to feeling like I knew enough to confidently begin breastfeeding my child.

I will continue using Anna’s services as I hit breastfeeding roadblocks along the way. Having an experienced lactation consultant on your team is a huge help and worth every penny!”

Hello, I’m Anna. As a mama and a professional with over 12 years of experience in Women’s Health, I understand the challenges that come with breastfeeding. I am a Registered Nurse (RN), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM). But more than anything, I am a dedicated advocate for mamas and babies.

My personal journey into motherhood was marked by a challenging struggle with infertility. After 5½ years, we were finally blessed with three children, including twins, our beautiful IVF miracles. These experiences have shaped my approach to care and made me especially sensitive to the unique needs of each family I work with.

Since 2017, I have been putting my expertise to work as a Lactation Consultant, assisting mamas and babies with a range of lactation concerns, including latch issues, milk supply, pumping strategies, tongue-ties, bottle feeding, the introduction of solids, weaning, and more.

After having my first baby in 2016, I started Prenatal Insights, my own private lactation consulting practice. I had worked in an OB/GYN office and found a greater need for breastfeeding education and services. I wanted to help mamas breastfeed with confidence. I worked to educate and support women with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

In 2023, I was accepted into the Doctorate of Nursing program at the University of Utah to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). I knew that I would need other lactation consultants to help educate and support mamas. I added several incredible women to my team and realized that I needed to change the business name and focus of the business to be all about lactation.

I founded The Lactation Collection (TLC) with one clear purpose: to educate and support YOU in your breastfeeding journey. As a team, we are here to provide you expert guidance and care, to help you navigate your breastfeeding challenges and to celebrate your successes. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that respects your choices, acknowledges your efforts, and empowers you to feel confident in your breastfeeding journey. Let’s make this journey together, for the well-being of you and your baby.
